Oro Valley Real Estate 2008

We are now 10 days into the new year and the best laid plans of this blogger have been stilted but not rendered mute.

I mean by that my intentions when starting this blog were to provide search options for those looking for homes in Oro Valley. This is about 90 % complete with many different ways to search for homes as well as a direct link to the public search in the Tucson MLS.

I also intended to provide information about life in Oro Valley and the interesting things going on in our community. This one has suffered. I haven’t posted here on those subjects as much as I wanted to when starting this site. It has taken a back seat to the two other blogs I author Tucson AZ Real Estate and Tucson Real Estate in the News.

I’m not one for making New Year’s Resolutions. So this isn’t a resolution, it is a goal. My Goal, “To post at least once a week to the Oro Valley Real Estate blog in 2008.” I was all set to go out and get some photos for post ideas that have been rolling around in my head for some time. Then the rain and cloudy weather hit for 4 days in a row. Now the weather has cleared and I’ve been out taking images for future posts.

Oro Valley is where I live and it never gets old getting up and seeing the Catalina Mountains, Mt Lemmon, and Pusche Ridge. Onward then into 2008. It should be an interesting year in Oro Valley with new growth and always something new or old to talk about.

If there is any topic anyone reading this would like covered leave a comment. I’ll be glad to find out what I can and pass on the information here. Anyone aware of new FREE WIFI spots in town leave a comment I’ll follow up on it. I’m working on building a FREE WIFI map for Oro Valley which will be updated as new locations are added. This will provide a quick resource for those looking for a gateway to the world while shopping or grabbing a cup of coffee and a snack.

Enlarge Images with a Click

I’ve added a new feature to the blog. If you click no most images in a post you will be able to see a much larger version of the image. I’ve done this for two reasons. First they are larger than will fit inside the post window. Second the post and blog will load faster in your browser with the small image in the post.
