 2008 July 4th Information Update

There is a wonderful tradition in Oro Valley for celebrating Independence Day each year. It is put on by the Greater Oro Valley Arts Council.

The obvious:

It will be held on “Ta Da” July 4th. Activities for the children begin at 5 PM

Tucson Symphony Orchestra Concert at 7:30 PM.

Fireworks Synchronized with the Symphony Approx. 9:10 PM.

Both sides of the flyer are here for all the finer details of the event for those wanting to attend this annual tradition of fireworks, music and activities for the whole family.

Food and Drink in the form of hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, cotton candy, etc. You know all the healthy stuff we eat to celebrate our independence.

Free Parking at Home Depot, Oracle and First, at Casas Adobes Baptist Church, NW corner of Lambert and La Cholla.

Shuttle Bus Rides for a buck

(lap children free)

It has been a while since I had a lap child, but to save a buck I’d hold one of the kids on my lap.

Those rides are continuously from the various Parking places indicated.

All are encouraged to bring their own cooler, pillows, blankets, and picnic if you want to eat more healthy food that is available on site.

Hopefully the temperatures will be in the double digits by concert time. Come and enjoy this old fashioned 4th of July Celebration. Check out the Great Oro Valley Art Council Website.
